United By A Common Goal

For years we have had promises made by county leaders. Time goes by with nothing but the same promises and another date in the future while our public schools and public buildings crumble and our infrastructure ages and can no longer support the community. We are tired of waiting. It's going to take change. I want to be that change.

IF NOT NOW, WHEN?

I am Bryan O’Neill and I am running for County Commissioner because I believe that the time is NOW. There are 3 major, challenging  issues that are now facing the People of this county. Issues that have been known to the County for 10 to over 20 years, the Courthouse, the schools and Blue Ridge Community College. It's going to take change. I want to be that change.

IF NOT NOW, WHEN?

The 3 commissioners that are seeking reelection have been on the Board of Education and/or the County Commission for 10 to 20 years. They own these problems they can’t push  off the blame on their predecessors. They have had years to fix these problems. We can’t let them continue to fester. It's going to take change. I want to be that change.

IF NOT NOW, WHEN?

I will make sure that the school bonds that you, the voters approved over 5 years ago finally get issued and that our schools can no longer be compared to those in a third world country, that our courthouse is replaced by a clean modern facility where we can once again hold court, that we no longer fear that we will lose the desperately needed educational opportunities that will be lost if Blue Ridge Community College is forced to leave our county. I will foster an environment of cooperation between the cities and communities in our county. It's going to take change. I want to be that change.
